Job Application Hell
I hate applying to jobs, I hate having to write love letters to companies who don't even care about me, I hate reentering my CV into a website whenever I apply to a job and I hate having to do personality tests to make sure I "fit into the culture" of the company. Recruiters don't care about you, they sit on their cushy little desks talking about how the youth of today don't want to work anymore, meanwhile they just rejected 100 applicants at once saying "Unfortunately, we've decided to go with a different candidate who we decided is more fit for the role"(the other applicant doesn't exist). They do that for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and 52 weeks a year until they retire. If recruiters were able to use their rudimentary form of consciousness for something different than coming up with more synonyms for "We rejected your dumbass, 'cause we don't give a FUUUUUUUUUUCCKKKKKK LMAO", they'd realize in an instant that their existence has no meaning, they are the weakest link and will be left to die and rot once the apocalypse comes. I am looking for a job, and I struggle and heaven knows I am miserable now.
Jealousy
I am jealous of content creators. On youtube, I just see them playing games and having the time of their lives with their friends or in IRL stuff as well I see vlogs of people who pretty much got famous through gaming and are now just living their best life. Being able to just indulge in whatever you wish to do is such an insane privilege and I am not sure they realize how good they actually have it. They for sure never had to write a job application. Is it childish to wish for something like that? Yes. Do I still want to have that kind of life? YES.
